Before the creation of the Court of First Instance, all case-law was published in a single volume of the European Court Reports.
The Court Reports now consist of three volumes: the judgments and opinions of the Court of Justice, together with the opinions of the Advocates-General, are published in Volume I;the judgments of the Court of First Instance are published in Volume II, and there is a separate publication for the case-law in staff cases.
